KABAN values your privacy and has taken measures to ensure that any of your personal information and/or transaction information will be protected.

KABAN Description and Purpose
KABAN is an online payment facility that offers ATM, credit card and GCash payments.  By initiating and sending payments through the Service, you appoint KABANas your agent to obtain the funds on your behalf and to transfer the funds to the merchant that you are paying to, subject to the terms and restrictions of this Agreement.  KABANwill obtain the funds first by debiting your funds in your ATM bank account, your GCash account or charging your credit card account.

Collection of Information
KABANwill only collect information such as your name, address, telephone number, email address (this will serve as your sign-in name / sign-in email), password, and one personal ID number (for offline validation of identity).  We will also be asking you to choose a secret question and answer to ensure your protection and convenience if you have forgotten or lost your password.  In order to make payments through KABAN, you will be requested to provide ATM (ATM card number and PIN number), credit card (card number, the expiration month and year, and the rightmost 3-digit security code), and GCash (mobile phone number and MPIN) information.  KABAN will also collect the Internet address (IP address) of the computer or device from which you are accessing your KABAN account to help detect and prevent possible instances of fraud or unauthorized transactions.

Partner sites might ask for additional profile questions from you before you can use their service/s.  KABAN doesn't keep or use these data.  Our partners will be solely responsible for any information you have provided them.  Make sure that you have read and understood clearly the terms of use for each site or service that you engage in.

KABAN’s Use of Personal Information
The collected information stated above will be used for authentication purposes, identity confirmation, transaction fulfillment and to make access with our partner sites easier. Providing us with your registered account will also make it easier for us to investigate and identify solutions should problems regarding your account occur.

Disclosure of Personal Information
Information gathered during the KABAN registration will not be disclosed to any third party.  Partner sites will not have access to the database and will not, in any way, be able to know your email address, password, ATM card number and PIN, credit card number or mobile phone number unless you have voluntarily given your email address when you use their service/s.

Storage of Information
KABAN knows the importance of protecting your security online that's why we have applied measures to ensure that your information cannot be accessed by unauthorized users.  All passwords are encrypted and servers are placed in areas which can be accessed only by authorized personnel.  ATM PINs, credit card numbers and security codes, and GCash MPINs on the other hand, are never stored in any of our servers for your own protection.   Each time you make a transaction, you have to re-enter your password through a tested and secured connection.

However, the security responsibility doesn't rely solely on KABAN's side.  We expect that you, as a user, would also exercise the same responsibility in making sure that passwords and ATM, credit card and GCash information are kept in confidentiality.  Make sure that the password you are using is familiar to you but could not be easily guessed by other people.  Make sure that you sign-out completely after using our service.  It is recommended that you close the browser window that you are using whenever you finish browsing a particular site.
